Adding money through cards

  • Tap “Add money” from the Home Screen.
  • Type in the amount you wish to add.
  • Select the card you want to “Add Money from the Source of Funds” at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap “Confirm”.
  • Enter your second factor of authentication, and tap “Continue” to finish adding your funds.

100 AED/ month

This limit only exists when using cards. To avoid limits, add a bank account instead.

With bank accounts, there is no maximum limit for adding money to your Balance Wallet.

You can only add money to your Balance Wallet if the following conditions apply:

  • Your Balance app is up to date.
  • Balance is authorized by your bank to make online transactions.
  • You have not surpassed the daily limit of adding money through a credit/debit card (500 AED).

Tap on “Activity History” on the bottom right corner of the Home Screen to view all transaction details.

Each Transaction Activity has a unique activity ID.

For each activity you are able to share the receipt by tapping “Transaction Receipt”.

Adding money through a Bank account

  • Tap “Add money” from the Home Screen.
  • Type in the amount you wish to add.
  • Select the card you want to add money from the “Source of Funds” at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap “Confirm”.
  • Enter your second factor of authentication, and tap “Continue” to finish adding your funds.

Some banks require a cooling period to add Balance as a beneficiary.

The cooling period varies from one bank to another.

For your convenience, each bank will have its cooling period displayed on your Balance Home Screen with the time remaining.

You will be notified once the cooling period is over and the bank account is ready to use.

There are no top-up limits when you add money through a bank account.

Yes, you will have the ability to choose which account to top up your Balance Wallet with.

  • Tap “Add money” from the Home Screen.
  • Type in the amount you wish to add.
  • Select the sub-account you want to “Add money from the Source of Funds” at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap “Confirm”.
